The session begins with a diagnostic interview in which, in addition to the main complaint, previous accidents, illnesses and symptoms are assessed. This helps the osteopath to provide the appropriate treatment.
Good to know
The osteopathic treatment is usually covered by supplementary health insurance (natural medicine, alternative medicine) without the need of a medical prescription. The type of coverage depends on your insurance.
Osteopathy is a complement to and not substitute for allopathic medicine.
In most cases, a combination of both treatments is not a problem and is even beneficial in many cases.
